It’s better than Christmas when a big box of Xero “wear tester” models comes to our porch! I receive amazing products and do not need to shop for days guessing what others might like or need, no need to decorate the house, etc. The challenge is to wear all of them enough to have reviews complete on deadline. I chose to request each of the new “vegan friendly” models. Wish granted. Thank You Xero Shoes!

Xero nailed it. Hats off to the design team.

The Sunrise is addictive. In my view, it’s the moccasin style shoe I’ve wished for years Xero Shoes would create. Think of Sunrise as a high-tech moccasin. Probably their lightest shoe, ever. Some of their sandals may come in lighter of course. Sunrise may be the shoe you didn’t know you wanted and will love IMO. And if you get a pair, I suspect you’ll wear them for much more than camping and travel.

The Scrambler mid height hiking boot is perhaps their best yet boot at mid height or less. For me, that meant running a 50K trail race in them, right out of the box. So, I created a review prior to trashing them in the mud, and another video review the day after the 50K. Happy to say and glad to report I ran that race a full hour faster than the prior year. Not bad for a 60 years young dude, who excelled in zero sports during high school. Nada, but now I hope to retain athletic abilities for many more years, ideally decades.

The Xero Prio Neo, with a catchy new name is simply an improved version of their best selling athletic shoe. Upgraded quality and craftsmanship make Prio beautiful, light, yet sturdy and “soft”. Huggable footwear for sure. Guaranteed winner IMO.

And the new Dillon at a glance looks like a Vans or Converse, but the outsole is much thinner than the exterior styling and construction signals. It’s the Xero “truly minimalist” version of the classic sneaker. On one of my feet, my right, I can feel the extra, primarily decorative, rubber on the inside arch area just slightly. Not sure if that will go away. A minor thing, probably more of “me” issue. I have less arch on that right foot. This shoe prompts me to shop for a skateboard for the first time in decades and makes me wonder, what ever happened to my skateboard from the 70’s? Pretty sure I wore it out and confident I’d be wise to NOT go shopping. Kind of enjoying being concussion free and I’ll find plenty of uses for the Dillon.

Below are the video review links, and I’ll likely add more reviews after enjoying more time and miles in the new models. Happy Trails. All the world’s a trail.

50K right out of the box for a first time wearing them outside.
Dillon is flat out cool.
Just buy a pair. Guarantee you will love, with 99.99% confidence.
Water resistant … a great TRAIL RUNNER for Winter use!!
After kissing the SpeedForce on video, a huggable Xero was inevitable.
